The recent ruling by the judges at the European Court of Justice is totally out of order as the insurance companies do not assess policies by sexism, but by facts on driving gained by years of experience and dealing with accident statistics.
This is just another case of these idiots having to be seen justifying their jobs by changing acts that they should have no jurisdiction over.
What were they thinking when they passed this law? Did they never stop to consider where it might lead? This idiotic decision could result in the older, more responsible drivers having to pay a substantial amount more on their policies if the next law they decide to change is, that the insurance companies are being ageist.
The way things stood was the more sensible option with accident facts being taken into consideration, and if that means that younger girls,and the older, more experienced drivers pay less than the young boys who, on the whole want to speed and test their cars to the limit, then so be it.
The judges have not looked at the facts and the real reason for the differences in policies and instead of investigating and changing laws they constantly make a hash of, they should be looking at how incompetent they are at doing their job and RESIGN!

Scotland has to fall into line with the rest of Europe and allow criminals who are being questioned to have a lawyer present at all times when being questioned. I have no qualms with this, but I do object, if cases from the past are going to benefit from this new law, even if it was as soon as the day before this judgement comes into play.
The officers followed the law when questioning criminals of the past, so anyone questioned without a lawyer present then should not be considered to benefit from this NEW law as it has no relevance to past cases. What chance have the police if all their hard work of the past is quashed by one of the new changes the European Union come up with every day just to prove to the community that they are still alive?
How many murderers and rapists are going to be freed because of this, and if they decide to change another law, are we always going to go back and look at old cases, fill our already over stretched courts to set more killers free? Did the release of Megrahi not bring enough shame on our nation, or are we going to be a laughing stock again by letting more killers off scot free?
I have yet to hear of a case of an innocent victim being helped by the law of human rights, only criminals who do not deserve the use of this law. The victims should be given more consideration than the criminals and any new laws should be for them, not rules that allows the criminal element of our society to make a bigger mockery of the system while having a good laugh at the leniency of justice in today's sad world.
For all the good they are to the innocent people it was designed for, it should be renamed "The European Court of Human Rights for Criminals," as they are the only ones who benefit from it.
Its a pity their laws and actions are not as impressive as their building in the picture above, then they might prove worthy of such a place to hold court, as it is an old hut would suffice.
For an organization that was contrived to HELP victims it does anything but! It is time some common sense was brought back into our failing justice system and we start to punish criminals again. If they want to keep on committing crimes then they must be prepared to take their punishment, not go crying to human rights and expect sympathy. If in fact they commit serious crimes they should lose all entitlement to that law as some of the crimes committed are not humane, and do not justify protection from a court that is supposed to be for HUMAN RIGHTS! These people are NOT human, and have NO rights.
The world is already suffering more at the hands of criminals thanks to the absence of justice, its time to take a stand or pity help our future generations.
The French fishermen would not stand for it, and the Spanish are never questioned about their methods of catching fish of all sizes, and cleaning up their fishing grounds, but the responsible Scottish fishermen are once again being punished by the mindless idiots in Brussels who still want restrictions on our fishing fleet. These laws are being passed by people who know nothing about the job or the fish stocks around our waters, and who's main aim seems to be to ruin the Scottish, or British fishing industry.
Our representatives in Europe come away the same old sob story that there is nothing they can do about it, but it is their job to fight for the rights of Britain, not to walk away with their tails between their legs, and allow this useless union dictate to them.
Britain is the only country who allows this to happen while countries like Spain and France, to name but two stand up for their fishing rights, and are listened to even though their boats slaughter everything they catch. Why does our representative not use these facts as ammunition to protect our rights instead of walking away in defeat. Questions like these should be asked, so why are our MEPs not asking them and fighting on our behalf? Their jobs should be questioned if they cannot let their voices be heard.
What excuses are we gong to get when our fleet is tied to the wall with thousands of jobs gone, ashore and at sea, while foreign vessels from other E.U. countries come and plunder our seas leaving them in the desolate state they have left their own in?
This union has no right to dictate to our fishermen,nor should they have been given the power they have been, and if we were given the vote we were promised by our weak government, we would be in control of our own waters and making a better job of it than these fools who are in charge of our destiny now, not only in fishing matters, but in all other important matters. Heaven help us for the future.
What is happening now is a far cry from the Common Market we DID sign up for, where the price and distribution of food produce was the main factor.
The European Union was bad enough but the Lisbon treaty is a step too far, and a step most countries will live to regret.
The gutless wonders we send to represent us in Europe will be the cause of us losing our individuality, while the stronger countries, like Germany, and France who are already beginning to dominate, will take over the running of everything and their word will be law.
Now why did Hitler not think about conquering the world this way? It seems his modern day counterparts have come up with a successful formula to rule Europe,only this time there is no resistance.
So Ireland has finally been browbeaten into voting for the Lisbon Treaty, after two votes, coming under extreme pressure from the European Union, to tow the line. The choice of the Irish people should have been listened to in the first place, and I am sure they will live to regret not voting against it the second time around. This is supposed to be a democratic organization, but with this farce in Ireland, having to vote until the European Union get what they want, and Britain being refused the referendum it was promised, it stinks more of a dictatorship. They are running scared in case they don't get their own way, which tells you they have no faith in the treaty being passed without pressure being applied. Poland and the Czech Republic have still to decide, but you can be sure that they will have to conform to the wishes of the EU just like Ireland did. According to the European Union if this treaty does not go through it will put the whole concept under pressure, and if a small thing like this treaty puts it under pressure, then it is in a sticky wicket to begin with. The idea of a common market was fine, if they had stuck to the commercial side of things, but a union that tries to dictate every law, and every aspect of the running of other countries that have had their own rules, regulations, and traditions throughout their existence is wrong and is destined to fail. It is only a matter of time before some of the countries rebel against the stupid rules that are coming from this union, and when this Lisbon Treaty is forced through the impact of how demanding, and restricting to our own ways and traditions it is going to be, will bring a realization that instead of increasing its power, we should all be taking stock of the dangerous predicament we have put ourselves in. As I have said before other, unions similar to this have failed before, the USSR and Yugoslavia to name but two, and I see no reason to think that this one will be any different.
So the European elections are over and our representatives chosen once again but are they going to be any better than before? It has come to my notice that they get over two hundred pounds a day just for turning up at the European Parliament with over eighty thousand a year wages plus over two hundred thousand pounds to cover staff wages and office accessories. Its a pity that all their good intentions go out the window when the money comes in because, as is seen repeatedly, whenever policies concerning British jobs or British rights come up for debate we are always the losers with seemingly no one to stand up and fight for OUR rights. Where are the elected MEPs when our country's industries are being decimated and our human rights are being demeaned by stupid laws made by this useless union set only on helping themselves rather than put up a united front in all matters. I wonder what the MEPs spend their wages on when all that money is being handed to them on a platter? OK so they have staff and overheads, but it would be interesting to see just how much of their two hundred thousand pounds plus, actually goes towards financing these matters and how much goes into feathering their own nests, providing them with a secure future that harder working folk do not have the privilage of looking forward to. After all the scandal concerning our own MPs and their scams, it is time the European members were brought under the same rules that are being promised here, and be seen to be doing their jobs, because as long as we stay in this so called union we should be getting SOME benefit from it instead of being made fools of at every cut and turn. It is hard to imagine just what our MPs spent their wages on if anything, with houses, furniture, food, repairs, other bills and travel costs covered by the taxpayer. The only thing left is to stash it away and live a life of luxury when it is added to the golden handshake they also recieve. Never again fall into the trap of thinking that they are in politics to put our interests to the fore, they are in it for what THEY can get out of it and to hell with the mugs that voted for them.
The EU have no faith in the Lisbon treaty being passed as some countries have been refused the right to vote (Britain being one) therefore not allowing their population the right to express their opinion on what is a very important subject. Another example of politicians arrogantly thinking that they know better than us, rather than listen to to the people that voted them in. The agreement was that if one country voted against the Lisbon Treaty then that was to be enough to prevent it going through. Ireland voted against it but the arrogant MEPs in their desperation to push this dangerous treaty through have decided that the Irish were not capable of deciding what they wanted at the time so are forcing a rerun on the vote. The situation is now, that the countries that they thought would vote against it are not getting a chance to vote and the one country who voted against it is being forced to have a rerun in the hope the voters change their minds. Are they going to keep having reruns until they get the result they are looking for? Are we now starting a trend to keep the electorate voting until they get the results they think is the right one in every type of election? What is the point of an election if you are not going to accept the result, is this not how a dictatorship is run? Depriving us of our chance to express our views THIS TIME could seriously affect our destiny on future alterations to the treaty, leaving us wide open to more or all of our decisions being made by anonymous nonentities who no nothing, and care nothing about our laws, culture and most of all what WE know is best for our country. I do not agree with some of UKIPs policies but at least they have the gumption to see the danger signs coming from this useless union and with the two main parties set on staying in it we have another reason other than the expenses farce, to look elsewhere for a party that is willing to listen and carry out the wishes of the people who put them in power. I am not sure who to vote for YET in the general election but I am positive it will NOT be either Labour or Tory and according to the surveys neither will the majority, a majority who have no wish to be part of a EU dictatorship.
The time is fast approaching for the MOST useless bunch of MP's, who are expecting us to vote for them in the oncoming European elections (or jokers wild) and who do nothing but grant other countries THEIR wishes while ignoring the wishes of the people they expect to put them in this cushy job they desire, with its outrageous pay and expenses system. These are the people who bring our fishing industry to its knees every year when quotas and conservation matters are brought up while allowing other countries to plunder our stocks and extend their fishing fleets while ours are being forcibly decommissioned by this useless European Union. Everywhere you go in the Mediterranean coast there is an abundance of small fishing boats that go out and catch very little now because they have overfished their grounds long ago but nothing is done to cut that fleet down or anything done about building up stocks there again. Our fishermen are the targets every time and are sold down the river every year by these clowns that are about to canvas for your votes. Not only the fishing suffers but many other British industries are suffering because Britain has NO voice in this useless union that was supposed to help all members to prosper but has turned into a farce with only the bullying countries gaining from it. So beware when "Jokers Wild" suggests they are the person for the job and check up on what they really do to earn their ridiculous wages because it certainly is NOT to the benefit of this country so why vote for them at all as its the other nations they help that they should be looking for votes. If you think the idiots that are running the country are bad you should check out this lot. idiots that are running the country you should chech out this lot.
So the French fishermen blockade the ports in protest against the E.U. ruling of their quotas and their government firstly fines them so much for each days protest then decides to pay compensation for the loss of earning caused by some pen pusher in office who has no knowledge whatsoever of the ins and outs of any countries fish stocks or where they fish or don't fish.
These rulings have been hitting the British fishing industry for years now even though we have looked after our stocks better than any other country and stood by and watched as foreign fishing boats were allowed to plundered our fishing grounds thanks to another ignorant pen pusher in an office somewhere who most likely resides in a landlocked country and has no national interest in the job he has been designated to preside over.
The British government however chose to ignore the thousands of workers on land and sea involved in the fishing industry here, and rather than help them survive played a part in it's rapid demise by bribing owners to scrap their boats instead of assisting them.
From a once strong fishing nation our fleet has been cut to the minimum as our government officials gave in to every whim that the E.U. came up with and now with them allowing our fleet to be weakened, the foreign boats (who have cleaned up their own fishing grounds by landing everything they caught regardless of size) will come in and take their place especially when they have their own governments backing them.
The French fishermen have proved once and for all how our government have let us down by being the only country to abide by E.U.rulings as no other country has let one of their biggest industries collapse at the whims of these ignorant pen pushers who have nothing better to do than see what they can destroy next or what stupid law they can bring out.
The other countries in this union look after their selves first regardless, of the agenda ridiculing its very existence while making fools of the British representatives.
It's long past time to get out of this excuse for a union and look after ourselves again of which we are very capable of given the right people in charge!
