The Yorkshire ripper is a good example of why hanging should never have been abolished. There was never any doubt, and never will be any doubt that this scum took the lives of thirteen women,and attempted to kill at least seven more, therefore it could have saved the taxpayers a lot money if he had hanged. Now he is wasting more money, and taking up court time in his attempt to get a release date.
THIRTEEN LIFE SENTENCES AND HE IS BEING ALLOWED TO WASTE TIME AND MONEY THIS WAY!
With the abolition of hanging he should have got the next best thing, and been thrown in the corner of a cell, fed once a day with bread and water until he died. The public should have heard nothing about him, and he should have had no connection with the outside world. Him and his kind should never be allowed to appeal against their conviction, never be released, and the only time the public should ever hear about them again is when they die in their prison cell. The families of the ripper's victims must be furious that this scum is being allowed to rear his ugly head again. Throw him back in his cell and leave him to rot, and any other of the vermin who have committed violent murders like him should never be heard of again, never given the chance to cause any more stress to their victims families. WAKE UP YOU THICK HEADS THAT ALLOW THESE RIDICULOUS MOVES AND LET THE BASTARDS ROT. Its time fitting punishments were adhered to.
Once again I have to ask the question, WHY DOES OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM RELEASE PERSISTENT SEX OFFENDERS TO COMMIT THEIR DESPICABLE CRIMES AS SOON AS THEY ARE RELEASED, WHILE NOT EVEN SERVING THE SENTENCE THEY RECEIVED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
How often are they going to be allowed out AND commit their vile offences before the idiots who release them learn that they are not fit to walk our streets.
As I have said before, the idiots who release them should stand trial along with them, for crimes committed against honest upright citizens human rights.
Since the human rights law came out, I know of no honest citizen getting any benefit from it, only the scum criminals who are allowed to exploit it, and should have no human rights whatsoever.

Woman stabbed by grandchildren rape bid attacker Ryan Yates Ryan Yates admitted carrying out the attack in Aberdeen
A man has admitted trying to murder a 60-year-old woman in an Aberdeen park amid a plan to abduct and rape her two granddaughters, aged eight and two.
Ryan Yates, 29, stabbed the woman while the children escaped in the Bridge of Don area of the city last October.
Two days before the incident he was put under a court order banning him from accosting females after a sex attack, the High Court in Edinburgh heard.
Sentence was deferred for a full risk assessment order.
Yates carried out the attack five days after he was released from prison for an assault which contained a sexual element.
He was caught by police shortly after the attack and said he had gone out that day "looking to find some children to have sex with".

He said he intended to kill the woman he attacked "so that I can get to the kids".
Advocate depute Alan Mackay said: "While walking in the park the younger child asked to come out of her buggy. The grandmother bent down to unbuckle the child from the buggy and noticed a pair of legs standing very close to her.
"She stood up and saw the accused close by, less than an arm's length away. He was holding a sharp pointed kitchen knife with a serrated edge in his right hand."
He said that, without warning, Yates then thrust the knife towards the woman's chest and during the ensuing struggle the victim found herself on the ground.
She grabbed the bottom of the blade and top of the knife handle and kicked out at her attacker while the elder of the children fled with her younger sister.
'Safety concern'
Mr Mackay said: "The struggle for the knife continued and Yates told her he'd let her go if she let go of the knife. She refused and the accused spat in her face as she continued to struggle and scream."
A woman intervened and Yates walked away "quite calmly".
Police soon tracked him down. During an interview he maintained that he would have had sex with the children despite their ages but would have let them go afterwards.
Mr Mackay said the grandmother was left with a scar on her left hand which served as a constant reminder of the incident. Attack scene The incident happened in a park in Aberdeen last year
He said: "When she is out walking now she feels that she is constantly looking over her shoulder.
"She also indicates that she is concerned for her grandchildren's safety."
Unemployed Yates admitted attempting to murder the grandmother with the intention of abducting and raping the young children in Westfield Park on 14 October last year.
He also admitted breaching the terms of an interim sexual offences prevention order made against him at Aberdeen Sheriff Court two days earlier.
The court heard that Yates was sentenced to four years detention in 1994 after being convicted of three charges of indecent assault and two of assault.
He was given a further two-year term of detention in 1999 for an attack on a woman and was given another seven-year extended sentence in 2003 following a High Court conviction for assault containing a sexual element.
'Horrific crime'
Lord Pentland placed Yates, who is in custody, on the sex offenders' register pending the risk assessment report, due in April.
Det Supt Brian Yule, of Grampian Police, said: "This was a horrific crime targeting an innocent woman out for a walk in the park with two young children."
He added: "Grampian Police and its partners are thorough in its application of nationally-set regulations for dealing with registered sex offenders.
"At the time of his arrest, Yates had fully complied with all the conditions relating to his registration and our officers had visited him regularly in the days after his release.
"We and the other partners involved in the supervision of offenders devote considerable resources to this area and we will continue to do so in order to provide the best possible levels of protection to the public we serve."
Yates told police after the attack that he had wanted to be sent back to prison. Officers believe he may have become "institutionalised" after so much time in jail.
Det Supt Yule suggested that politicians could consider the case for new powers, allowing police to seek extensions to prison sentences if offenders fail to comply fully with rehabilitation programmes.
Now why was this man released, and this crime allowed to happen, and nobody in authority held responsible? They are very good at coming up with groveling apologizes, and excuses AFTER the event, which is far too late and just not good enough!
I have been so sick to the teeth, about all the ridiculous things happening here that I did not know which one to write about. So many choices of disgusting decisions by the people we depend on to serve justice on the perpetrators of this country that always seem to end up making a laughing stock of the system which was supposedly made to protect the innocent, and punish the criminal. Not so it seems,as we are paying out money (over two thousand pounds) to disruptive prisoners who were locked away separately from other more peaceful prisoners for the safety of the said more peaceful prisoners, and the prison officers. We have paid out thousands of pounds to pay off prisoners who claimed their human rights were being abused because they had to slop out. These offender knew what they were getting into when they committed their crimes, and knew what would happen to them if they were disruptive, so why are we paying them money when they should be getting punished, a punishment they knew they would get, and deserve?
We have a convicted murderer in Scotland,(Beggs, the limbs in the loch murderer) who had already killed once and through a technicality was released to kill again, which he did. In prison for the second murder he committed he has been trying to appeal against his conviction for the ten years we have managed to keep him behind bars, but now some fool has decided to allow him to appeal, on the slight technicality of the case being made too public before it went to court. Knowing the idiots that run our justice system (the Magrahi affair an example although there are many more) this double murderer is more than likely to be released by the system that calls itself justice. He only wants out to kill again, and make another laughing stock of our courts,as he obviously gets as many kicks out of that as he does when he takes a life, but then again, as it is so easy to make a fool of our justice system, maybe the kicks for that are getting less, and he will kill more people this time. The time of the courts and the money spent on this appeal should not have been wasted on this vermin, and if he does get out he might find he would have been safer in prison, because the people of this nation are so sick of what is happening here HIS life might be in danger, as a well meaning member of the public might just cut his throat, giving him the justice he deserved for the first murder he committed, not to mention the second, which would never have happened if it were not for the fools who let him go.
As for the payments to the poor wee souls in jail. Well, they will soon be coming out with more money than they earned from the crime they committed to put them in there, and with the lenient sentences that are handed out here, it might just be worth it if we all got in on the act.
Well why should our criminals have all the fun and profit when it is us that is paying for it?
When they are looking for the answer to the question of why there is so much crime in the country, they need look no further than our stupid human rights law and the idiots that enforce it. We are not allowed to punish mischievous children who, turn into bad teenagers, who, get sympathy rather than punishment, who turn into the murderers, and violent criminals that roam our streets waiting to be caught and make a fool of our policemen, and law lords who's hands are tied because of the human rights law. When are we going to see sense and scrap it?
Now they are trying to rush a law through for a time bar on criminals claiming against slopping out why don't they go the whole hog and rush one through to prevent criminals profiteering from an E.U. ruling they should have no right to.
This action proves the laws can be changed so there is no excuse for allowing our money to be wasted on this scum.
I have said time and time again they are in prison to be punished and should be made to accept their punishment with no rights whatsoever to the much abused human rights law.
O.K. So there is no need to panic but I was still disgusted when I heard in the news that a doctor has decided the Yorkshire Ripper is cured and PROBABLY???? not kill again. What does it matter if he will kill again or not, he is in prison for killing thirteen women, the crimes have been committed, he is doing time for taking the lives of thirteen women and was handed twenty life sentences (and rightly so) as punishment. Is the doctor trying to suggest that he should be allowed out now that he has mellowed, or is the media trying to enrage the nation? Will the human rights idiots jump on the bandwagon and try for his release? If that is the case then I might just go out and kill someone I detest then tell the jury at my trial that it was a one off and they might as well let me go. If you think that sounds ridiculous then think again because that is the way things are heading in this lackadaisical society as far as justice is concerned. If the human rights brigade had their way, nobody would be behind bars and if you witnessed a murder just TUT! TUT! "I HOPE YOU DON'T DO THAT AGAIN" and walk past. If these fools were told beforehand that the terrorists or the murderers next victims were to be their nearest and dearest, i.e. their newborn child,wife,husband or parents would they still feel the need to sympathise with them, and would they still think they deserved HUMAN rights? If they are stupid enough to still feel that way then they need to be locked up too, IN AN ASYLUM! It is time the victims were given more consideration than the criminals because the way things are going in this country we will have to turn to the ways of the wild west before we get any justice. Ninety percent of the public at least want justice in this country but the minority of fools are pandered to, PITY HELP OUR FUTURE!
